Marine Aquarium Inhabitants - Images. 1 Year ago Karma: 0
Hi from New Zealand,
I am an interior designer presently engaged in the design of a Cancer Care Centre for a non-profit private hospital in Christchurch.
The theme is _base_d on a New Zealand native forest and foreshore envirinment and includes a large marine aquarium with a curved glass frontage which is recessed into a wall.

The ingabitants at this stage will be FISH: Chrysiptera Taupou, Chrysteria Talboti, Chromis Viridus Amblgobius Rainfordii,Sphaeramia Nematotera, Paracanthurus Hepatus and of course no marine aquarium would be complete without Amphiprion Clarkii (Nemo)!

CORALS: Entacmaea Quadricolor, Feather Dusters, Sinularia Dura, Actinodiscus Sp.

Alongside the aquarium will be a graphics panel identifying the tank inhabitants for the patients' interest.

After many long searches on the web, I am having difficulty sourcing suitable high resolution photographic images of the above species which would be suitable for a finished dimension of some 12" x 18". It is proposed to mount these images on the graphics underwater backdrop by means of acrylic panels on standoff fixings. LED colour change lighting will be used to effect and illuminate the whole panel which is 12'0" long x 2'3" high.

I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of a suitable source for the images I require.

The centre has to be open for end of November this year and it is essential that the conditioning of the tank gets underway as soon as possible.

This is the first time I have experienced the construction of a marine aquarium and I find the whole project extremely interesting and satisfying. I think I am hooked!

Hoping someone may be able to assist.

Kind regards,

Ian Dale
