I am hoping someone can help me. I have an unidentified disease in my tank. All my crabs and shrimp are fine, but I have lost two angles and now my older and normally very hardy FoxFace is diseased. He appears to have dark patches with white spots and his color changes to a very pale yellow but only when the light is on for long periods of time. In the mornings when the light is just coming on he looks health and by the evening he looks diseased again. Can anyone help to identify the disease? I have b...

Hi,

I am pretty new to the coral hobby and biz and have had my fair share of smelly disasters. I now have a very stable tank system in my garage (much to the aggravation of my wife) and have what I think is a great system up and running. Have been experimenting with my own fragging, some trading, and am starting to do some low level selling. I already know I have much to learn.

I am desperately trying to find coral wholesalers in Indonesia. I've reached out to a few but they are not replying. Does any...

Neither Goldfish nor Channel Cats should be kept in 10g, a slap to the wrist to whomever sold you these fish. As for the algae eater that little common name can be applied to good dozen or so fish, I'm going to assume it's a Chinese Algae Eater which is NOTORIOUS for chowing on fish slime-coat.

That was a real interesting post and I would love to visit your Reef Regenerating Program which seems to be doing so well and there seems to be so much dedicated work going into it to preserve the Giant Clams which are getting extinct now!! Would love to spend time with these beautiful creatures of the ocean and would really love to learn more about them!! The Marine Environment Education Programme also sounds very interesting!!...

There seems to be a lot of people doing extremely well with the fresh water fish and a few of them are available for sale too!! I am sure there will be a few who may want to buy the WTS and if the price is good and the fish are faring well, I am sure that he'll be able to sell them quite easily!! That was some interesting comments that we had here about the fresh water fish!!...

This seems a real good outlet to buy your fish from and whit the very attractive whole sale prices they are quoting, I have to check this out and try them out!! They seem to have a fantastic choice of almost all varieties of tropical fish and the part where they will ship right to our doorstep seems attractive too - that means we don't have any risks till it reaches us, which is real cool!!...

http://s1013.photobucket.com/albums/af259/michaelg210/Kung%20Fu%20Betta%20Disease/

Please see pics, thought it was cloudy eye, have been treating with Kanamycen, but it does not seem to be getting any better.
In the photos it looks more like perhaps pop eye, but to the naked eye, his eyes are not simply cloudy, they look like the old blind master of Cain in David Caradine’s Kung Fu, (for those out there young enough to recall)
Cataracts? I really don’t know.
Any Advice?
